A breve arriverà il DLC gratuito per Battlefield Hardline chiamato Blackout.
Come suggerisce il nome, il DLC permetterà di giocare "a luci spente" ; infatti verranno introdotte due mappe notturne, sarà possibile usare un visore notturne e verranno introdotte due nuove armi.
