Kingdom Hearts III: il futuro è l'Unreal Engine 4

Kingdom Hearts III cambia veste e passa all'utilizzo del motore grafico Unreal Engine 4 a discapito del "vecchio" Luminous Engine (motore proprietario di Square-Enix).

Il lavoro sembra procedere spedito anche se, proprio per il cambio di motore, il team di sviluppo stà incontrando non pochi problemi di rendering.

Non ci resta che aspettare nuove immagine fatte con il nuovo motore grafico.

Non sò voi ma attendo con ansia questo terzo episodio.

Una doccia gelata per i fans tedeschi di Sleeping Dogs visto che l'edizione speciale, denominata Definitive Edition, non arriverà in Germania per i contenuti "troppo violenti".
Il gioco sarà disponibile a partire dal 10 Ottobre su PS4 ed Xbox One.

Passato un pò in sordina, ecco comparire il trailer di lancio di Falling Skies, adattamente videoludico della serie TV prodotta da Amblin Television.

Il titolo è un rpg tattico a turni sulla tipologia di X-Com.

Onestamente, dal trailer, nonostante una grafica non certamente al top il gioco non sembra affatto male.

PS Vita: aggiornamento 3.30

E' da poco disponibile l'aggiornamento del firmware di PS Vita che porta la console alla versione 3.30.

Quali sono le migliorie introdotte?

Prima fra tutte la possibilità di scegliere i temi (cosa che sembra essere ormai una missione per Sony).

Oltre a questo, il nuovo firmware permette di aggiungere amici agli eventi creati e permette di utilizzare la console come controller per le PS VITA TV.

Battlefield 4: gratis per 7 giorni

Non c'è niente di meglio che provare a fondo un gioco prima di comprarlo.

Questa volta Sony ha pensato bene di rendere gratis agli utenti Playstation Plus il gioco Battlefield 4 per ben 7 giorni.

L'offerta prevede unicamente il limite temporale delle sette giornate e la console di destinazione che sarà unicamente la PS3.

Beh, sempre meglio di niente, no?

Con oggi, 1 Ottobre 2014, l'ultimo DLC di Dark Souls 2 approda sull'ultima piattaforma rimasta, ovvero il Playstation Network (PSN) dopo che ieri è approdato su Steam e XBOX Live Marketplace.

Con questa ultima espansione si conclude la trilogia di DLC originariamente pensati per Dark Souls 2.

Assassin’s Creed Identity: in arrivo nel 2015

Assassin’s Creed Identity è un action RPG per dispositivi mobili basato Unity e ci permetterà di utilizzare 3 diverse classi di assassini.

Le varie località si sbloccheranno dopo aver terminato varie missioni, per un totale di 16 diverse tipologie.

Per il momento il gioco è annunciato per il 2015 e sarà un titolo free to play.

Forza Horizon 2: un bug manda in freeze la console

Anche l'acclamato Forza Horizon 2 non è esente da problemi ed in questi giorni molti utenti lo stanno sperimentando sulla propria pelle.

Sembra che durante i vari tragitti nel mondo la strada scompaia da sotto la macchina e la musica vada in loop; a questo punto l'unica soluzione è quella di riavviare a forza la console.

Il problema si fa più grave se nel mentre la console sta salvando il gioco visto che al riavvio vi trovereste esattamente nel punto di non ritorno.

Vediamo se si trattano solo di casi isolati o se verranno rilasciate patch correttive.
