Gears of war 4 potrà essere giocato in multiplayer con la modalità split screen anche su PC.

La conferma arriva direttamente dal technical director del gioco, Mike Rayner che ha definito la scelta un "lavoro d'amore".

Inoltre il gioco potrà essere giocato in multiplayer offline via LAN e permette il cross-play.

Infatti è stato espressamente detto che la versione pc non sarà un porting della versione Xbox One, anzi, questa versione avrà delle features inedite.
